It could bounce back to one but given its now Foo Fighters topping the chart and Green Day holding at number two I don’t see it going to number one again. Time for the new radio single!! Is Running getting any radio play at all? If not they should release a new song now.
It's still sitting at #1 on Billboard's Mainstream Rock chart for the fourth week in a row (the below is reflecting charts dated April 6, 2024):

"Dark Matter" (7 weeks)

Alternative Airplay (18-10-10-10-9-7-7)
Mainstream Rock Airplay (17-6-3-1-1-1-1)
Rock & Alternative Airplay (6-1-2-1-1-2-3)
Hot Rock & Alternative Songs (46-28-31-31-35-37-43)
Hot Hard Rock Songs (3-1-2-2-2-3-2)
Canada Rock (10-3-2-1-1-1-1)
Adult Album Alternative (Triple A) (39-26-22-19-20-19)

Eh.

One rando’s song rankings are pretty useless to me.

I’m just ready to have this record and begin digesting so I can draw my own conclusions. I have anticipation fatigue at this point.

What happened to the music video? I have a theory that Andrew Watt talked them out of doing the classic of them appearing all old and cringy and convinced them to do something sexier.

When that Angry video premiered, I immediately thought the blonde was kinda hot.
Ok, very hot. I had never seen Sydney Sweeney before that.

Putting WFS second to last makes me think it may have a cheese factor (seeing as this reviewer put Something Special last and was clearly kind of bothered by it). When Gigaton came out, that hurt acceptance of Retrograde, which is a song I think most die-hard fans will love given time.

Seven O'Clock also have a cheese factor, but its a great song nonetheless, so I wouldnt worry too much. PJ have always been a little cheese, since Black.
