I feel like I don't want Debrincat on my team. Not my vibe.

Why would you not want a 40 goal scorer?

Na it's the best pickup that will happen this off-season.

I'd like to apologize to Phil Pritchard on this day.

so the pens recent signings

letang i like. though i am sure he could have gotten more on the market its tough to find a defenseman who eats up 30 quality minutes like he does

rust - the same as letang. probably could have gotten more on the market. he plays well with either center

malkin - not sure how much he would have gotten on the FA market. he needs to adapt his game better and play smarter. he is a beast on the powerplay but 5 on 5 he seem disinterested in playing the whole ice consistently. still would have liked him a bit cheaper since there isnt proof he can regain his form before the knee surgery

rakell - like that he signed long term

the fact the flyers didn't, or couldn't, put in an offer for gaudreau makes me hate this team. its like they are trying to tank.

The Flyers fucked up free agency worse than I could have ever imagined. Torts is going to choke at least one player to death by the all-star break.

i would have been more surprised if giroux came back to philly. i think he's always been open about wanting to play for his childhood team.

Sorry, it's been a while since there was any positive news surrounding the Sens.

I don't hate the idea of giving Murray a chance, but I don't like that trade at all. Ottawa should have retained 50%.

He's so bad.

Phil, friendly bet, we are going to have a better season than you next year. Mark my words.

Wild trade between Florida and Calgary. No doubt Tkachuk is an upgrade over Huberduber--younger and grittier. But sending Weager and a first round pick feels like a huge overpayment.

Ottawa? Uh... nah. They're moving in the right direction though.

There was a stretch of over three months this year (Jan 8 to Apr 14) where the Leafs had probably the worst goaltending in the league. Campbell had an .876 SV%. Mrazek's was .890. Kallgren's was .899. Just absolutely awful. And in that stretch they played at a 109 point pace.

The goaltending is very high risk, but the team will likely be one of the best in the league even if it sucks.

I'm glad it's taken 5 months for the Blues to finally play their 2nd game of the season tonight.
