i like how, in III, anakin just kneels down in front of the emperor, and all of a sudden is "darth vader" from then on.

My pal Bronagh has the first speaking part in Phantom Menace. She's the captain of the ship carrying Obi wan&Qui gon to the negotiations. (The one that gets blown up in the hanger bay)

She gave me a fleece zip up top with Star Wars phantom menace day 23 embroidered on it.
I lost it. And that was the best thing to come out of that film for me.

Palpatine: I mean I know eventually we can suss it, if we work together. I don't really know it yet.

There should have just been one film, wherein movie monster Palpatine, deliriously useless John Hurt, and three trained raptors are joint-chasing a skinny british guy named skynet and his Russian Jedi dinosaur friend down endless waterfalls in pod racers. It would have been a lot more fun. Five stars at least.

Everyone's prequel recall is outstanding. I have no idea how any of you remember that much about these movies.

I saw TPM in the theater 4 times. Once because NEW STAR WARZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ!!!!!!!!!!! MIDNITE YAY!!!!!!!!!!

Twice because, wait what? Was that... what just happened?

Three because I'd already bought tickets to see it the week AFTER opening weekend with a friend coming into town.

And four because my acting teacher wanted to see it. She didn't believe it could be any good at all and she wanted to watch me watch it and tell her why any moment of it had any value.

I saw second one twice in the theater and once on TV. They edited it down right? I remember Anakin killing those kids being a bigger deal the in the theater than on DVD/TV, whatever.

And I saw EP III once. After it had been in theaters for a couple of months. I've had no desire to revisit it.

From my recollection, it was always just that he walked in, a kid approached him and said something, and he turned his saber on. Then I think it cut to another scene.
