It is.

Trag: No clue but a couple of seasons are on netflix.

Its fine but a little "on the nose" and often time feels like an after school special.

First two eps were solid. Haven't watched the rest yet.

Wife and I are currently on season 2 of Handmaid's Tale. Shit is so depressing.

It sure is, though it does better in season 2. We're halfway through season 3.

Flipping through the channels I see Mike Lindel, the MyPillow guy, hawking his pillows on The Jim Bakker Show. I knew he was super conservative & popped up on Fox as a commentator on occasion but I never knew he was a religious kook who did huckster televangist programs too.

I watched the Modern Family Christmas episode this morning. It was a bottle show with Cam & Mitch hosting Christmas dinner. The older cast does work extremely well together and they had a chance to show that off in a fast paced, mostly witty first two thirds of the episode. There was the old sitcom set up for person A trying to avoid person B who was trying to avoid person C and so forth with Cam trying to keep everyone together. But then the final act it was revealed that Cam is being considered for a coaching job in Missouri and that this could be their last Christmas together. Which led to other characters they have chances to move on by next year too and everything almost ended all tidy and cheery. I think that's the first time in-show they acknowledged this is their last time around before calling it a wrap.
I say "almost" because Manny & Luke's argument blows up again right in time for the family picture. And that was the weakest subplot of the evening; the Manny character has always been badly written (and cast?) and I swear Nolan Gould was a pretty good child actor and one point but he's gotten worse as he's matured. Haley got a good storyline last year being pregnant but the writers/producers have never figured what to do with the younger characters on they show as they've grown into adults.

Currently doing a rewatch of Fringe with the wife. We need a show or two to watch at this point. Our ideas are to give killing Eve a try or watch the BBC war of the worlds, but i hear the WOW is pretty bad. Any recommendations welcomed.
