The Jyn v Tie shot is in the book. You know, if you want a reason to read it.

I don't want to have to go to a store.

It's disgusting but they do different deals with different outlets.

So the target has these bonus features. The Walmart release has these other bonus features and so on.

I haven't heard of an amazon release for this tbh.

There is a sweet steel box version of it out there on one of the retailers though.

I got Force Awakens through Amazon.

I Know. Just don't think they have an amazon deal this time is all.
Lotta people were pissed off at having to buy multiple version from different retailers to get all the content.

Then they realised hang on. I can see all of it on YouTube and keep my money.

Love this movie.

That scene with her father's holomessage....it's the worst kind of expositional rushjob, but it's so well executed I couldn't even care.

That's a strangely touching scene. And I believe her in that moment.

Yet when she meets her father again minutes later. And he's dying. It falls flat for me.

A lot falls flat here. But the stuff that works is so valuable.

Darth Vader's dialog: wet fart
Vader's menace: present

Droid: funny but not great
Droid also: not 3PO

The Rebellion's decision-making: plot convenient
The story of a young, terrorist-centric rebellion: super cool. And I like the fractured quality emphasized here, because it gives a great starting point for the original trilogy.

Space food jokes: present
Space food jokes: not given center fucking framing

Blue milk gets far too much screen time in Star Wars.

Odd given there are no bathrooms in Star Wars up until that Rebels episode week before last

All the saw Guerra stuff is awful. Huge missed opportunity. That's my biggest gripe with this one. On par with the bullshit with ham on the millennium falcon in TFA
