It was really good. The standout of the whole meal was the eggplant appetizer Mrs Wease got. It may very well be the best thing I’ve had since we got here. So far, anyway.

so...a couple hours after this post we were at the restaurant waiting for them to get our table ready...it was quite busy so we were waiting outside..5 minutes late turned into 45 minutes late...it was quite warm outside..the 4 of us are just chatting and all of a sudden i looked at my wife and i was seeing stars and everything was turning black..i fainted for the first time in my 55 years..it happened 2 more times within the next couple minutes..the last time i was being held up by my wife and friend..i fell and they caught me but not before i rolled on top of my right foot and hit both of my knee caps on the pavement...the ambulance showed up..they ripped off my shirt and starting inserting IVs in me on the street in front of everyone..i got rushed to the hospital for the first time as well in my life..my blood pressure had dropped to something stupid like 60 over 50..long story short, my sodium levels in my body we're dangerously low...i drink way too much water during my waking hours apparently..anyway, 4 days later i was released..i had every test know to man given to me and my arms are still black and blue from so much blood given for tests..my knee caps still hurt and i get around the house with a cane..sleeping at night is difficult because i can't just lay on my back but laying on my sides make my knees hurt so much..anyway i'm getting better..thank god for good insurance because the bill is north of 50k....doug rr wrote:meeting friends at a local steakhouse tonight...ive eaten too much red meat in the past couple weeks i think I'm going to just get a shrimp cocktail and a beet salad
