It wasn't meant to hate. If you're overweight and run your knees will hurt

Yeah it's a problem. I am overweight. I should probably lose a bunch of weight on the low impact stationary bike and stretch a lot and then level up to running. Thanks guys.

This is like the retard word argument. I'm fat, call me fat. That's not an insult, it's the truth. Calling someone fat who's not fat is an insult and a lie. He did not say it derogatorily.

Last time I was running a lot I hurt my thigh so bad I could barely bend my leg for over a week and it's still occasionally sore. Whatever I was doing I was doing it wrong. I think I might have a crooked leg that throws my stride off or something. Can't blame me for being anxious about running again.

Yeah and he didn't wait to start running until he wasn't fat. That is antithetical to his whole thing. And he would never tell someone they are too fat to run either.

I'm not sure what he considered "running" when he weighed over 300 lbs. He needed to get the weight off.

Be ready when the whistle blows!

I have been knocked down more times than I can count - the latest knockdown is my knee- but, it is all about how you look at getting knocked down!

If you look at it the wrong way, you would just stay the fuck down and choose to make the ground you are laying on as comfortable as possible. You will get a pillow, an air mattress and a blanket and just say “fuck it, I am tired of getting up.”

Or.... you can be that motherfucker who realizes I have been knocked down so many times and gotten back up that I see it as a test of my endurance more than anything.

Those people who do their best work after being knocked down are the people who have figured out that life is just one big “up-down” drill. They don’t give a fuck who holds the whistle, when it is blown or how long the drill is going to go. They just continue getting up whenever that whistle is blown.

They don’t get up slowly because those who get up slowly are seen as tired and weak and are often preyed upon. It’s like seeing blood in the water! If you continue to stare life down straight in the eyes, the one who holds the whistle gets tired of blowing it knowing that you won’t stop!

It’s inevitable that we will all get knocked down in life- some more than others- but at the end of the day, I have one finger that I always use when I get knocked down and... it’s not my index finger!!!

Know that I do my best work immediately after being knocked down so don’t bother leaving my any soft messages and “get wells” because THE BEST IS YET TO COME! Stay hard!
