LOL. No.
Pierce had 5 years of 25+ PPG. Hill had one. Peirce's peak years lasted twice as long as Hill's. Pierce has scored almost 10,000 more career points than Hill, has more all-star appearances (6 to 10) and was Finals MVP.

Pierce had longevity. So what? Hill was a better basketball player who was unlucky enough to get hurt. Given the choice between a healthy Grant Hill and a healthy PP im taking Hill 1,000 out of 1,000 times. Only thing Pierce could do better than Hill was get stabbed at bars.

How was he a better basketball player, verb? What standard are you using?

My eyes. You can back choosing Pierce up with stats I guess but Grant Hill was an extremely well rounded special talent before injuries derailed him. Even then he was still able to adapt his game to have a long career. Pierce stuffed stats on primarily shitty celtics teams until KG and Ray Allen showed up.

Your eyes, right. That's a standard we can all relate to.

I like to kill time on basketball reference as much as the next guy but there is sometimes more to the story than stats.

No, he wasn't. I'm just looking for this quality that makes Hill better than Pierce.
Is it all of his Really Nice Guy awards?

You've been too exposed to Suns basketball over the years to understand.

Which means I saw Hill play in person about 20 times.

Yeah but that was off brand Grant Hill...who still gave Phoenix decent production.

I know Hill is a nice guy, but I still wonder if he slept with Nash's wife. I mean Grant would have been the only Sun not to have slept with her.
