They've been doing this same thing with legal gun and gun accessory sellers. Disfavored goods will have to transition to bitcoin or otherwise route around payment processors.
I don't know why we think payment processors should be making these calls instead of, I dunno, the relevant government regulatory bodies.

a company can avoid reputation risk by doing what the consumers ask
and pretending like they didn't know it was a thing
and then putting out press releases that say they 'missed the mark'

Was Pornhub the service that was for a time pro 1A values and made a thing about hosting (non porn) videos banned by Youtube, or was that some other service?
I hope the Pornhub afficionados of foot fetish and like end up somewhere other than Twitter. It was a better place before all those Tumblr furries fled to it.

The password to the update server was "solarwinds123". They were told about this more than a year ago.
The good news is, if your org hasn't updated solar winds in over a year, they weren't compromised. Updates, not even once.
