Only difference is Gretz has about 1200 more assists than him.

I feel like this all-time goal record is a bit over-rated.

Not to mention the caps are basically more concerned than the team game at this point.

Never been an Ovi fan. Nothing against him but there are many far more impressive players to watch. He's got a nice shot...

I can't imagine anyone wille ver catch the all time points record of the great one.

But the goal thing is definitely attainable and will be just about as many games played as gretzky as well.

Yeah but like putting up that many goals when you also passed as much as Gretz and set that many people up is way more impressive than getting that many goals when all you do is shoot.

not taking anything away from him (because he's the goat), but you also have to put those assists into the context of him playing with messier, kurri, anderson, coffee, et al. that helped that statistic because they were able to finish.

You guys needed to rebuild and instead picked up failed and disgraced GM Kyle Dubas.

Obviously Karl isn't what he used to be. He has always been high risk/high reward. At his best I have never seen anyone impact games like him. He is not the reason your club sucks but he's probably not a fit there either.
