It's clear that she's painting a dishonest picture of her background for... I dunno, inexplicable reasons. But the accent thing is one aspect of this story that I can kind of understand. I've watched a few videos of her talking and I don't really get the sense that she's faking it. It's definitely inconsistent, but that tracks. I know many Americans who, after living here for a while, will unconsciously adopt aspects of the Argentine accent when speaking English. If she speaks a lot of Spanish (she's said she's raising her kids bilingual) that can happen. Accents are weird, social mimicry is a real thing, that's not the smoking gun in this case. Also, I saw that video of her "pretending to forget the English word for cucumber"-- I forget Spanish words ALL THE FUCKING TIME and it's my native language.

and she only speaks spanish in present tense bc she is just some whitey from boston faking being spanish

and her customer service skills were a dead giveaway: she was way too attentive and timely and responsive to inquiries

Sometimes I'm reading a post but I have to scroll to see the username/avatar and it's fun to try and guess who I'm reading based only on the content. I almost always get b_i right, and if I'm wrong it's because I guessed simple schoolboy.
