I was like, my boy.

i didnt see it...did he also have 19 incredibly horrendous giveaways in his defensive zone or is that only when he has the pens jersey on?

the general feeling around here is if crosby says he wants to go to a contender he should be granted that request. he has done more for hockey than most anyone and has been nothing but a class act
Looks to me like Karlsson was a point per game during 4 nations. Guess it's the Pens that suck. Remember Jake Guentzel?

he may be a point a game but was also a turnover machine leading to odd man breaks

no doubt the pens are grasping at straws to be who they one were but they had no option to keep jake realistically as they were up against the cap

oh baby there is

feeling pretty conflicted

my love of canada

my us citizenship

a president i despise

but i also do not care for the quebecois who boo my national anthem

and the amount of construction in montreal that is everywhere and takes for ever and never gets completed

making it impossible to walk around in the summer

without ending up in some massive giant dig site rebuild

that will sit there for months on end unresolved

also making cabs a pain in the ass

and how somehow traffic became an issue in such a low population city

but i also love the dingyness

and the way people sound like ducks

and the food and drugs and beer

advantage: canada

Awesome game. Hockey is just the best. Congrats to the best player on the planet scoring the winning goal. :heartbeat: Canada.

The fact this has been politicized so much makes the win so much sweeter.

That was one of the most stressful games I've ever watched.

Extremely satisfying outcome!

Weird to mostly agree with this except every Canadian should boo the US anthem

At the flyers game yesterday.. they dropped 6 on the oilers.. 50c off a beer per goal afterwards at xfinity, still 5 bucks

Who'd have thought I'd see 9 goals n not one by McDavid

I had lost track of the NHL for years, but Ovie's chasing the record came on my radar this year, and I was like, "Wow, he must be ancient now!" He's one year younger than me.

I know people don't look at him the same as Gretzky, as the Great One was a more complete player, but you've got to admit his longevity in this sport is pretty awesome. I'm glad he has a Stanley Cup in his career. Still the best week-after-championship celebration of any athlete ever.

It's such a different game these days so the fact that Ovi is this close is pretty amazing. I hope he does break the record this year. Next year wont count.

Gretzky's total points record will absolutely never be broken and that makes me feel good.
