You know what song is really fucking great? "Godless" by Danzig. Danzig was really, really good for a minute there.
I goddamn loved that show. Flickerstick was a really good band. I got to meet those guys twice and they were really cool in person, too.gardenparty wrote:I wish VH1 had done more seasons of Bands on the Run.
That was one of the few reality shows i enjoyed a lot

That's awesome. The Flickerstick guys had nothing but nice things to say about Soul Cracker. I made a "Soul Cracker Sucks" joke and Dom (the drummer) was like "no, no, no, no, no! don't say that" and went on about how cool the band was how VH1 manipulated so much stuff to make it look like a bigger feud than it really was.gardenparty wrote:Flickerstick was awesome. hahadurdencommatyler wrote:I goddamn loved that show. The guitarist for Soul Cracker ran front of house at the El Rey (maybe Avalon?) in LA a while after the show. I remember he was shocked when my buddy and i knew who he was
I’ve talked about this with Joey before, I was also a big fan of Flickerstick. I also got to meet them and hang out/drink with them after a show. Super fun times. They had tons of great songs and put on an excellent show. It helps a lot when you have a singer that can really belt it out on stage, Flickerstick definitely had that.gardenparty wrote:Flickerstick was awesome. hahadurdencommatyler wrote:I goddamn loved that show.
