Trump's been quiet lately. Is he dead too?

That's what I was thinking. No one said it could learn. If it's gained that ability, we're all doomed.

Yesterday, Trump and Giuliani ate at the diner in Dundalk where we take my grandad every weekend. Weird!

This is what happens when you start putting Millennials in charge of things.

I think Millennials (and younger half of gen X) can't be put in charge fast enough. I think what we are seeing is the baby boomer generation refusing to just go quietly and let the country move on.

God bless Colin Powell. The red team should have run him as VP in 2008

This always confused me. 2012 as well. I know he hasn't expressed interest in such a thing publicly but I've always liked Powell for the most part

That daycare bit is pretty clever.

"I'll reach out to the people who republicans usually ignore by proposing economic support for families with daycare needs, but appease my base by only making the help useful for people too wealthy to need it."

You must not have kids in or around a city. I pay more for two kids daycare than my mortgage, insurance, and utilities combined.

CNN headline right now:

Clinton: Taco Trucks on Every Corner "Absolutely Delicious"

This election is so weird.

What's the native taco/sandwich/torta situation in Argentina? Are you using leavened bread as a delivery device for meat and vegetables, and if so, what is the setup?
It's amazing how the media has completely missed the subtext of this quote and what is truly an historic announcement.

HRC:

Taco is
absolutely delicious
i want it on every corner
by the truckload

She just came out of the closet, idiots.

I know both sides have given cushy government positions to big donors for years, but it's still gross to see it spelled out.

the DNCs attempts to blame everything on the Russians is not gonna fly. That's the weakest response they could have possibly come up with.

I have two kids and I live in the Windermere neighborhood of Seattle, where you currently pay about $400,000 per bedroom for housing and compete with the entirety of UW and many downtown workers for daycare. But I also make enough money to either cover any daycare costs or (as we do) to have my wife be a stay at home. And according to Trump's plan, I would qualify for a larger tax exemption if I send my kids to daycare than my brother, who makes $41,000 and for whom daycare is an absolute necessity, since he and his wife can't afford to drop one of their 2 incomes.

Congrats on your material success, but I don't see what the issue is. I am willing to admit I might not be aware of the entirety of his plan, but I thought he wanted to remove the cap on Dependent Care Spending Accounts, which is currently only $5k (a mere 7 weeks of child care expenses for two kids), effecting both child and elderly care costs. This seems like a gift from god to single parents or lower income workers on the edges of neighborhoods like yours.
