I barely ever watch this stuff, but this Brazilian with no other Pearl Jam covers absolutely kills it on Brain of J.

It's not quite "Abbruzzese-style" but there's a few parts in there with that kind of feel:

I put melb night 1 bootleg on headphones and attempted the drum along to the whole show, I recorded it, used a tool to remove Matt Cameron and insert my drums , with mixed results

(Some songs sounded alright, some were atrocious )

But then I also spent a lot of drumming the next day and managed to lose all my electrolytes and was sick for 3 days with a migraine and nausea

I think i drank too much coffee and water that day

I know this is off topic, but... What thread? I read someone calling him a "scammer" in another thread, but I didn't see any naming and shaming, well, apart from that... I don't see how he can be a scammer, since he could have obviously profited big time with all this material, but he just chose to share it freely. He made us happy and he's paying some consequences apparently (especially regarding his YouTube channel). I feel bad for him, music is supposed to be listened to and I would have done just what he did, just in a safer way, and probably posting the stuff with the same nickname of your YT channel wasn't the safest thing to do.
I briefly watched a couple videos of him on his channel where he sings, just out of curiosity, and he seems like a genuine good guy.

So do we when our first amendment rights are being violated by the band we love and the club we tolerate. How can we be told to not discuss songs we’ve heard? The link was taken down. There should be a thread to discuss these songs. It’s not a crime.

Yeah I agree. I meant the thread title. I put the post here so B would see it.

It appears to me that his yt channel was targeted due to this recent activity that shall not be mentioned. Same nickname certainly was a mistake. I just hope that there was no pressure on our administrators to share his email or other details. We have all benefited from his sharing.

Like I get saying "don't distribute unreleased stuff", fair enough. But we can't even discuss it? Do they really have the authority to do that?

Seems like major overstepping and the mods would be well within their rights to refuse this request. They’re under no legal obligation to comply with Pearl Jam or the Ten Club's wishes unless the board has a formal relationship or agreement with them, which we don't

It's insane and I really would like to hear the mods' reasoning for complying with that request. Clearly PJ can't keep us from talking about something we heard. Mods should know this...

Is it naive to start thinking about collecting signatures to send to the band to show them that there is real interest in this kind of material? Outtakes, sessions, etc. I mean, they were the ones that start this mega fanservice in the 90s.

Maybe they will get a release together. Really no point in not doing at this point
It may be a good way to money for a cause. In fact i maybe compelled to donate to a cause of the band. There must be a way forward.
You cant tell me that if they were a bunch of middle aged low life internet trolls and Kiss or The Who leaked like Light House they wouldn't be all over that shit.
I do understand they are probably disappointed they cant curate the release of their material.
Maybe we should give the band a free life long membership to this great forum..
