The point being, in the movie, the place isn't called "Skellig Michael" it is some fictional place. So they can doctor it up all they want, it isn't a portrayal of an actual place, but rather a made up place in a galaxy far, far away. Whatever tropical place they filmed in for Rogue One didn't have a big Empire Citadel Tower there in real life, but the people that live there aren't complaining that the director got it wrong

I'm sure they have super strict rules and the money spent filming on the area is probably invaluable in maintaining the historical sites.

Dime's being reactionary and weird. There is A new trailer that is a shorter edit of the first. But there will also be a second full new trailer in September. At least, that's the word right now. Maybe October. But probably September.
