We finally made it down to a well regarded neighborhood wine bar. It’s known for woodfired pizzas, we shared a clam pizza with this onion cream sauce that I can’t stop thinking about. Worried it might be a temporary item as it doesn’t appear on their website menu. Will have to go back soon and order it again.

While paying the bill, the waiter offered us a sample of orange wine. My wife inadvertently ordered one last year in Chicago that was pretty ordinary, so we took this as a sign to redeem it in our eyes. Ended up buying a nice bottle to keep around.
