Moonlander - Stone Gossard

When a band is but a fraction of Pearl Jam, but they aren't zero Pearl Jam.

Is that the one that sounds like Stone is singing Glen Hansard's Falling Slowly? Whichever song that is I have a hard time listening to without thinking of Glen singing it.
No, it's the one where Stone sounds like he's singing "Hotel California".

I think I'm going to abstain from the rest of these until I can listen to them all.

I love these songs so far, and I'm super excited about this record, but this is a really shitty way to unleash it. It takes all the wind out of the sails.

I think its supposed to build anticipation but all its done is slowly turn me off. To me, this isn't even close to as good as Bayleaf so far anyway....

Haven't posted in a long time. What's up?!

Mixed feelings about this release method. I do like it because it forces me to focus and appreciate each song individually. I do agree that it kind of squashes the new album effect. I find the 2 e.p. thing a little more strange than the single song per week.

I believe many threw around this idea for Pearl Jam of the future instead of a long hiatus between albums.
There's the dog. You can't fake that stuff. Confess with your mouth.

That's what I was thinking too. Slowly unveiling the mediocrity before the full release is killing any buzz on this one. What ever happened to the good old 'release the albums one killer single then sucker people into paying for the full album' days. No wonder record labels are going broke.

Still going to hold off until they're all out at this point, but I'm excited that this one is getting good reviews from people who's musical opinion I value.

Not a big fan of the side projects or the solo stuff to be honest, but I can't wait for Moonlander. I've liked just about every track.

Remain is certainly a high point.
