I think this will be it for the Boba story, but instead of killing him, they'll have him give up the "throne" as a tired old man and go find some Tusken Raider village to live out the rest of his days in.

That could work, yeah. I'd be down with that. But that'll inevitably leave a vacuum on Tatooine. Who steps in to fill that void? Fennic, maybe?

You’ve got the new republic at least kind of patrolling tatooine.
And yet a flourishing drug cartel / drug war below?

He might just get back up that way too

They could still play a role, obviously. At this point I wouldn't be surprised to see Q'ira show up in the finale. They've done such a good job with the surprises and keeping secrets.

But I love how many people were talking about how it would be stupid and a wasted season if Crimson Dawn wasn't in the show. "They got put in Crimson Dawn!"

Don't hear anyone complaining today.

I'm so fascinated to see how all of this comes together. Star Wars under Favreau is not all that dissimilar from Marvel. They ae building a Mando-verse right now. But will there always been separate series? Will there be a second "stand-alone" Boba Fett series? A Fennic series? Or can it all just be under the umbrella of The Mandalorian now?

Well, I should be careful. You're correct, Strat, that they could always bring him back. So, it's not impossible. But I'd guess it's pretty unlikely. His death was so satisfying and fulfilled not only his arch but Obi-Wan's, too.

Pfft! That dude survived being cut in half and thrown down a bottomless pit, and we're just supposed to believe that a lightsaber stab finished him off?
Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?

Yes be careful. Star Wars has proven that “nobodies ever really gone” even to the detriment of well….

Ok, i just that episode. I only saw the first one of this series and backed away because it looked like a cheaper version of the worst Mando eps, and it seemed it wasnt going to move forward.

I really liked this ep because of that, because its getting the story to move forward and its not a contain adventure of sorts. Luke being back, damn i loved it, even tough yeah, i get its something weird with it. Still, i prefer this to the cheap move of not telling any of stories or talking bout him offscreen.

Give me Luke anytime, give me R2, tell me what happened to Grogu.

The bad guy was fucking menacing, something the sequels didnt get it right....That was badass.
BONE FUCKIN´ TOMAHAWK.

Again, B, I don't know how many times we have to discuss this... you gotta start looking at things thematically. You're always so literal.

I also kinda liked have R2 just shut down for a minute. That was a nice precursor to TFA.

No, you're right. Every Star Wars fan out there is threatening to quite because Maul is dead. It's really the only complaint anyone has!
