Harm, I find your lack of Me First And The Gimme Gimmes disturbing.

Yes but not a hastily cobbled together live album.

I don't have any real reason to think this is their final record, but it does sort of have the same career retrospective vibe that Collapse Into Now has. I really love how all over the map it is while still feeling totally cohesive. It's a strong collection of songs that I can't wait to get to know better.

Have fun at the con! :heartbeat:

I think it's a fun one. But I know I'm biased, because San Diego is 10 minutes away, and they threw in a mariachi with a couple of Mexican classics.

Kinda like "Ruin Jonny's Bar Mitzvah".

The new Idles record is really good. The new Future Islands is great.

The guy in VOLA plays a Warwick Streamer. Accept no substitute.

I liked the Future Islands album about as much as I liked their other albums-- which is to say, 2-3 songs are keepers, the rest I will probably never listen to again

If the rest of the record is of similar quality to the two singles then this will be a very solid release indeed.

I agree, they are yet to make an absolutely compelling album but this one comes pretty close.
