It's making me want to rewatch O Brother, Where Art Thou?

Didn’t see this in 70 mm or imax or Dolby vision. But I did just see it in an open-air theater under the glow of the Acropolis (sick flex, bruh!), and while that aspect of the experience was unforgettable, this movie felt like a real chore. I really enjoyed Crice - best men to pigs transformation scene since Willow. Otherwise, and I absolutely mean this, the Armand Assante made-for-tv version was more entertaining in pretty much every way.

I'm guessing it felt like a chore because you saw it in an open-air theater --- regardless of flexible location, that's not ideal for any movie.

I saw one scene of Baz Luhrmann's 'Romeo & Juliet" (a movie I absolutely adore and think is like top 25 of all time) last night, in an open-air screening, on my way home from a Liberty game (which they won and was one of the best games I've ever been to) and even that kinda bored me.

No, the theater was fabulous. The movie was tedious. I was impressed Nolan was able to use footage of Zendaya shot for Dune part 1 and work it seamlessly in, though.

I’d take more personal firearm chatter over these cranky epilogue takes.

I'm struggling to wrap my mind around how bad of a take that is. The whole review, actually.

I'll be praying for you, DT.

I jest, but I thought the main criticism of Zendaya in Dune was that she's doing a frowny face every time she's on screen. Not true, of course, but it's similar to Veggie's "Sleepy Timmy" bit. A harmless, exaggerated running joke.

Zendaya's Athena is nothing like that. So it makes zero sense!

Apologies for sperging out about this.

sigh

Look, man, I don't give a shit about Timbo. He seems like a bit of a douche. But the man can act. The "sleepy" thing is just dumb. You're better than that.
