The Leg 2 shows are better. I know, because I've heard some of the audience recordings. San Diego, Portland and Vancouver are all very good.Strat wrote:Charlotesville is bad. geezes I dont think he got 1 song right. The Fixer is just brutal. Poor guy literally has no voice left. Thats fine, i get it, years of abuse yadda yadda but its kind of hard to listen to. I know its much different being in person but I have little desire to check out any other shows at this point.
dude, yellow moon is appalling.lowlight79 wrote:I listened to Baltimore. I don't think it was as bad as people made it sound. It's not great, excellent versions of Hard to Imagine, MFC, Yellow Moon, Man of the Hour, Nothingman and Waiting for the Man doesn't sound half bad. Ed sounds quite bombed for the 2nd encore and his voice really goes then.

Cool, glad to see they've sped up the pace & are popping them out. Still have to decide which late tour set I'm going to get though.matt reeder wrote:Ask and ye shall receive! That's right, go ahead and shit all over my wonderful memories of the gig. Thanks, Strat.Strat wrote:Charlotesville is bad. I know its much different being in person but...

I totally agree, I can't stand the track, when I make my mix, I will let someone else pick. I was just saying it sounded rather good. The 1st encore in charlottesville is pretty good, very good version of Future Days.
Any of these you'd recommend? I remember really liking the looks of the San Diego setlist.matt reeder wrote:Ask and ye shall receive! Dallas, OKC, Phoenix and San Diego are up now. I'm looking forward to listening to these - my memory is that these shows were excellent.
I recall San Diego being really good - that's probably the one to pick first. I'm still waiting on the Portland>Spokane>Calgary>Vancouver run at the end of the tour before I buy some boots.bluestate wrote:Any of these you'd recommend? I'm curious to see if they improved as the tour progressed, I would hope so, but I was so seriously underwhelmed by both the leg 1 boots and the show I saw a few weeks ago that my motivation to listen to current live Pearl Jam is at an all-time low right now.
Mine too. I didn't even bother listening to the leg 1 boots. The audience clips from YouTube told me all I wanted to know. I'll probably get back into it some when the Portland show pops up (since I was there). After that...who knows.Birds in Hell wrote:I haven't bought any yet either.

When you say focus, do you mean "a twelve-step program"?Strat wrote:He has moments but he truly needs focus.
yellow moon is the best track on the record imo (apart from pendulum). but the baltimore version is one of the worst performances on a boot filled with bad performances.lowlight79 wrote:WtOB? wrote:dude, yellow moon is appalling.lowlight79 wrote:I listened to Baltimore.
