In the record store today two guys were talking about the differences between Metallica's version of "Turn the Page" and Bob Seger's original.

"The original version was on the radio the other day, and my girlfriend said, 'Turn it off, this shit sounds like crap.' And I said, 'Fuck you, bitch, this is classic music.' And she was like, 'Fuck no, turn it off, it sounds like crap."

"Man, you're gonna have to teach that bitch a lesson."

"Fuckin' I know, right? I mean, it had to slap the shit out of that bitch for years to teach her not to change the station when Pearl Jam came on. Now that bitch knows not to touch that fuckin' dial when Pearl Jam comes on."

Sadly that sounds pretty much in line with the majority of Pearl Jam fans at this point.

My wife is buying theater tickets for our anniversary trip to NYC in March and asked "Do you want to sit on Mike's side or Stone's side? Just kidding, I know it's always Mike's"

When Pearl Jam played Sirens at NYC, the entire audience turned, almost in unison, and punched the woman to their left.

I teared up a little bit.

I find nothing to be sad about here. I hate it when my girlfriend touches that fuckin' dial.

She's always turning it down to talk while I'm driving. I hate talking while I'm driving.
