Up and down round today but had a good time and had a pretty decent round at falling creek park, finished 14 over which is my 2nd best score there so far.

God damn did I shit the bed at league night last night. Just couldn't putt to save my life and got some horrible luck to go with hit. Birdie putt bounced off the pole, landed on edge and rolled 40' down a hill behind a tree. Turned that 2 into a 4 and managed to card 3 - 5's somehow as well.
I've got a big tournament coming up in a week and a half, The Canadian Nationals in Kamloops so I've been putting in a lot of putting practice and doing really well with that, but it all came unglued last night. Hopefully get that under wraps here right away.

See if a local dg store will help you put out the word. Maybe give them a flyer with your email address on it and see if people respond.
Fishy moved here from Detroit about a year after I moved here. He was solo until he met up with the folks at the Fly Green Disc Golf [shameless plug for their store] and they had a league going that was conveniently placed in between Co Springs and Denver. They play for tags.
Fishy's Vibram event went really well. The largest turn out for Vibram in the country so far. Free beer supplied by Upslope. Fly Green had a shop set up. Throw Colorado was there also to introduce their new club. It was a thing of beauty really.
The free beer was the best invention ever.

After the Upslope beer was gone we tapped the Bristol keg and gave out solo cups for "donations to the girl over there."

im mostly thinking of a smallish group of 10 to 20 ( maybe thats not too small) and since all the courses around here are free to play, if people wanted to put in some money for prizes at the end of the "season" then thats all it would really cost. ill have to talk to the guys at play it again sports which is the biggest dg supplier around here and see if they know of anyhting like it already or if they think it would get much response.
its an awesome idea, not sure if its somehting i could pull off or not, but its at least worth checking into.

I'd be surprised if there wasn't already one or two around you. Try looking at the clubs listed here first.

Just go to dgcoursereview.com and post that you're looking for a club or weekly event in your area.
Speaking of which, are any of y'all dgcr members? Any VIP members here?

I was 18 over on the 20 hole liberty university course, though i had triple bogies on 18 and 19 to kill what was going to be an awesome round for me, still not too bad especially since i managed to forget my stratus at home and there are a lot of holes that set up nice for me to use it

yet another disc i want to get, im looking at the discraft Xpress elite z, its got a 0.0 stability rating and im struggling right now to keep my nukeSS 1.0 from breaking too hard to the left at the end, it used to just slightly fade but now it probably breaks 50 feet to the left at the end and i dont have a lot of places where i can get away with that. so anyway, the Xpress isnt as long distance of a disc( its an extra long distance driver instead of a maximum distance driver) but i think if i can keep it a good bit straighter then it will help a lot more then the extra distance, and when i correct the problem( if it is just the way im throwing instead of a warped disc) and can go back to the nuke, the Xpress is supposed to be a good turn over disc, so would still be good to have.
anyone use the Xpress elite z ?

I think you'd do well to get something like the Xpress to play around with. In general the slower stuff is a lot easier to throw accurately. The faster stuff will likely get out farther, but they won't be near as accurate as the slower drivers.
I use a disc called the Diamond for stuff I want to finish right, down wind shots, etc. I've never thrown the Xpress but from what I know they're a lot like a diamond.
