It's not too often my wife is completely wowed by something I make, but last night's Mississippi pot roast got a rare 10.0 from her. She raved about my ratios, which is the ultimate compliment from her since she's the most intuitive saucier I know.

Nothing needed but a crock pot, some beef and veggies, some butter and some seasoning packets, but man you've got to get it all just right.

Wait a second...

Right before I put the lid on, my wife peeked and nudged me to put a little bit of the juice in there with 'em. Her secret ingredient and the key to it all... She was really complimenting herself all along.

A post should be as meticulously crafted as a well balanced pot roast.

The pepperoncinis are implied. In Mississippi pot roasts as well as in standard RM posts between two lifers.

I actually built my ratios around the size of the baby carrot bag.

I seared three bone in pork chops at lunch. Tossed them in the crockpot and smothered them in minced garlic and brown sugar. About to find out how it went.
