I'm somewhat convinced that Pearl Jam didn't record Lightning Bolt. They didn't even write the songs. Brendan O'Brien invented a mechanism that records one's thoughts, and he recorded himself thinking what Pearl Jam should sound like, and what they'd sound like if he was in the band.

I'm listening to this right now. I still enjoy it. It's solid, sometimes pretty darn good.

I like to think PJ have one more really great album in them. Somewhere off into the wilderness of where they are with this album. Probably not, though.

Yellow Moon is still shit.
