Millions of people live in Israel, presumably some of them have the good taste to be fans of Neil Young and Crazy Horse. It's just a rock concert; what discernable difference would it make to deny those people the chance to see the band?

Good for Neil.

Either is acceptable but 'discernable' is more commonly used in Britain and Australia, I believe.

I've never once met an Israeli who wasn't a ranting militant hateful asshole on that topic. And I've met many.
They're beyond unreasonable and when they stop terrorising the people who've been there for ages longer than their illegal itinerant 'state' then ill say fair play.
Until then they should be boycotted.

Hardly. Just believe what I believe. My father was a peacekeeper with the UN and he's spent over 2 years there in 6 month slots over the years since 82. And my pal lives in Palestine. Both have definitely informed my view.

If Neil or any other artist was to play a show in Israel and another in Palestine, fair enough. Do it.
Why wont that happen? Israeli government Wont allow you put a concert on in Palestine.

id even take it a step further, as if it was a Mirroball 20th tour... Jack is back on drums...
that leaves Matt free to re-join Soundgarden, and open for Neil Jam!

and a mini acoustic Ed/Chris/Neil set in between! (one can dream)

I kinda agree with this. Still, i think its ok for Neil to play whatever he wants or feel. And im not sure Palestine will accept a rock concert anyway.

Cool! I've wanted On The Beach for like forever, but I didn't want to drop money on a used copy knowing it'd get repressed eventually. Hopefully, in case this box set sells out, they'll release them individually, too.

Hopefully this also means that Archives Vol. II is somewhere just over the horizon?
