A Dolphins blog was arguing that because our defense is going to suck we may as well trade up to take Elliot and improve the offense.

If Hargreaves is gone and we stay at 13, I'll have less of a problem with them taking Elliott (if he's there). I don't see the need to not only invest first round capital in a RB, but to also have to sacrifice other picks in order to do it.
Hell, if you're going to trade up, try to get up to #3 to select Ramsey ahead of the Cowboys...THAT would be an immediate impactful player to our team

Never thought we'd end up with Tunsil in a million years...so he likes weed, big deal, as long as he isn't Ricky Williams or Josh Gordon stupid with it he'll be fine

I recall another Dolphins first round pick that fell for drug accusations...

Well, he videotaped himself smoking it and let someone else have a copy of the video, so that is pretty stupid.
I'm sure now his drug testing won't be random, so now he's got to be a little more careful when he smokes it.

I can't be mad at this pick. Regardless of how it works out this was a great pick. I didn't think it was possible for me to be happy with what the Dolphins would do last night, but hey.

Is it wrong I kinda want them to try and trade into the top pick of the 2nd to grab Myles Jack?

This fucking team...I forgot that Seattle tends to suck for about the first 6 weeks of the season...
The defense on that last Seattle drive was absolutely atrocious....so was Tannehill when we got the ball back still with a chance to win with just a FG
New England is going to murder them next Sunday...34-13 or so

I mean Tannehill was great on the drive that put them ahead. The last "drive" began at the 18 with less than 30 seconds and no timeouts. He had a chance on 1st down but missed it. Oh well.
That game was classic 21st century Dolphins in every way.

If Kenny stills was as good at catching a football that hit him right in the hands as he was protesting, the fins would be 1-0

My 3 year old daughter would have more of an awareness of a pass rush than Tannehill seems to have...which is amazing if for nothing else than the fact that Tannehill has been getting creamed for 4+ seasons now and he still hasn't figured it out

Yeah his pocket awareness is completely nonexistent.
Oh well.

Never would have guessed that was the Dolphins if I didn't see the helmet.

Yeah, looked much more like the Creamsicle-era Bucs.
