I really wanted to hear this 1.5 hour interview with Dave Allen (producer of every Cure record 1984-1992) but I can't deal with the host.

He might be the most grating, irritating person I've ever heard.

I've tried listening at fast speed, fast-forwarding to just hear Dave's comments; nothing works.

I've tried again. Does this guy have some kind of brain injury?

If he's not laughing or giggling for no reason, he's constantly drawling yeeeeeeaaaaah or riiiiiiiiiiight loudly over the top of Dave's comments. He seems to totally glaze over any time Dave starts getting into interesting technical discussions about making the records.

Not gonna lie, I just listened to a 10 minute stretch of the podcast and though I wasn't especially bothered by the guy's little interjections, I did find myself laughing every time the guy went "yehhh" or "riiight" because I kept picturing Spenno getting increasingly angry

Euro tour kicked off in Latvia tonight, this tour being announced months ago with the expectation it would be promoting the new album. There is (as yet) no new album.

Band played two new songs, however, and Perry Bamonte is back on keys/guitar (nobody left, so now there's six members on stage).

Is it? We’ll see.

Just realised this also means the band have returned to their 1995-2004 line up, only now with the addition of Reeves.

I really like the new songs. Will have to wait to hear the studio versions but sounds like they've got a Wish sound going on.
