I'm sorta a fan of Rod. Honestly I think he was right on his criticisms of the Panthers in the past. I think the league is sort of a joke in how it polices things. And all the Canes have learned from their experiences is you gotta play dirty to win. See Taylor Halls hit on Jake Sanderson for example.
