Speaking of.. You know the way some actors have a thing?
Like Dicaprio and Sean bean dying in every film they're in?
Brad pitt eating something ever scene he's in?

Well I figure Matt damons thing is turning up unexpectedly.
He does it in saving private Ryan, interstellar and one other film.

Weird gimmick for a want to be respected actor to have

Watching John Wick. Heavy intense vibe so far. I like it

No way Keanu can say 'whoa' in this one.
That'd be a first.

Is Elysium inadvertently one of the most anti-immigration movies of all time?
Spoiler: show
In the horrendous final act, the last sliver of uncrowded, clean land is invaded by untold thousands, perhaps millions of people, who raid all the medical supplies. These supplies are sure to do little to make even a slight dent in Earth's problems. Essentially the ridiculously "happy" ending is actually the final nail in the coffin of the human race.

Agree that district 9 was fantastic. Elysium looked too disappointing to bother with.

Wow, that's a first.

Elysium was possibly the worst movie I saw last year.

I know I have seen district 9 but remember nothing of it and haven't rewatched or had the urge to. I usually use that as my baseline for a good film.

That said I can't imagine watching Elysium again either.

You guys should see John Wick. Really cool action film. And I don't like them usually at all

Ah no, it lampoons and sends up the suspense/thriller/horror aspect but in a great way.

Well worth a watch:)

You shouldn't. An overly high RT score is almost ALWAYS a bad omen.
