A modern, rural American setting is pretty exciting to me.

Saw a Switch in the store the other day and just couldn't bring myself to be excited that I saw one. I might want to play Mario Kart on the go but that's about it right now until the Mario game is revealed. Maybe the Rabbids/Mario game since apparently everyone has a gun.

Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle is a role-playing video game featuring turn-based combat and elements of exploration. The game features eight playable characters: Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, and Yoshi from the Mario franchise, and four Rabbids dressed as the former.[1] The characters wield guns that shoot laser beams. The game features two-player local cooperative play.[2]

That's the first time I've seen that picture. That's amazing. Peach-Rabbid taking a selfie, Mario-Rabbid with a giant hammer, Luigi doing his best cover-shooter jump. Looks hilarious.

Like a blue shell you can see coming so it doesn't hit you mid drift, or even worse mid flight. Sometimes you can even make sure to let the 2nd place car get next to you so you both get blown up. Played through Journey yesterday. Sort of mixed feelings; really great, original, dreamy and exotic vibe. But the actual gameplay wasn't anything special -- the "puzzles" were just barely puzzles; the exploration was very much on rails.

Not a bad game by any measure, but didn't live up to the hype, especially after I was so blown away by Inside. Wouls be interested to see what the devs make next, but hopefully their singular design style will be better supported by really fun gameplay.

I was disappointed by it too. I never finished it.

God, updates are such a pain in the ass. All I want to do is chill out and play some Titanfall 2, but nooooo

So, I'm playing Uncharted 4 the other night. Really digging the game. Having a blast. And suddenly I'm under water and I gotta wrap these hooks around a sunken ship to lift the thing. And I do that. Then nothing. I have no idea what to do next. I'm guessing that I didn't attach the cables correctly? I have no idea. But this is why I never play games. Because I'm terrible at them. Because I never play them. It's a vicious cycle.

Find a YouTube video or ask a friend at recess. I don't remember exactly what to do in that situation. I think you have to pry open one of the crates too?

When that kind of thing isn't intuitive in a game, I consider that shitty game design.

Sometimes. I usually just miss the cues in those situations.

My Uncharted Collection save got corrupted somehow...lost my progress.

maybe the landscape has changed, but when the game came out, you'd find partners and come up with your own way of communicating with each other and helping figure things out. That was part of the appeal, but I mostly completed the game without the help of others. The ending was a great feeling, though.

There was only one other partner the entire time I played, and he/she was by my side for nearly the entire game -- basically never left me to explore elsewhere or lead me to something new. We communicated by spouting our unique little world balloons and tooting out that energy that made your flying scarf longer. The whole time I wasn't clear on whether or not this was another real player, or just a computer-controlled comrade. If that was a real person, then I'd say the concept is awesome, but either A) poorly executed, or B) I just got unlucky with a partner who wasn't all that fun to play with.

i think maybe people who complete the game get a white cloak or something. this person have one of those? they probably just consider themselves a guide getting people through everything
