North Carolina won't guarantee RNC that they can fill the Spectrum Arena and open restaurants and hotels at full capacity, so they're gonna start looking in other states.

Have fun, other states.

Great! Close enough to Charlotte that we'll lose the influx of cash AND still get sick.

PA has in person voting but also did a big mail ballot push, though it wasn't automatic.

I can't vote in the primaries (state level or national) because I'm unaffiliated.

Oh I didn't know RI was a closed primary state. Bummer. Are there any real battles there between moderates and hardliners?
You know what, there actually aren't any primaries at the state level this year. I checked out a sample ballot and it is literally just the primary. Yang is still on the RI ballot.

This seems the plan of attack - it's Joe's team that loves the bad people, and Joe himself doesn't even know where he is.

Yeah I guess that's what I mean, it's not a weakness of any specific candidate so much as a fait accompli for whoever the Dems ran. Outside of maybe Sanders, literally every Dem was going to get tarred with this to more or less the same extent. Does it work? Probably not, as the people who are willing to believe the Democrats love antifa are already decided. But I don't think cross the aisle Joe is going to be exempt.

I don't think he'll be exempt, but trying to paint him as Antifa isn't an attempt to depress leftist turnout and keep liberals at home. It's meant to scare moderates and soft conservatives. I'm just not really seeing that. If Biden has a problem, I think it's going to be that the left won't be there to the degree he needs it to be, rather than moderates thinking Biden is only slightly to the right of Sanders.

Accusing Joe Biden of being an extreme leftist is like accusing plain mayonnaise of being too spicy.

By which I mean that it’s both hilariously stupid and also something Mike Pence is ready to believe.

They totally make spicy mayo now, and you better believe MAGA knows that.

Sure, I don't disagree with this at all, I was just responding to mcp's idea that conservative media is incapable of selling as an antifa donor. I think they'll be able to sell it to the exact same crowd at they would if CIA Pete was the nominee. A crowd that was always already going to vote for Trump, the same crowd that thought Obama was a socialist.
