Safe to assume there will be no mention of midi-chlorians in TFA. Here is my guess... We wont know anything more about Luke until Hasbro releases the action figure well ahead of Dec 17th.
The thing I want to see more than anything is old Luke wielding a saber. Let's hope that happens and that the saber is green (or blue).

This is what I was saying earlier. The idea in and of itself isn't terrible necessarily. It was all in the presentation.
