It's about a Dev multiverse. Kinda like Into The Spider-Verse except about Dev. And live action.

And just like Spider-Verse, the Jake Johnson Dev is my favorite. Though, the Nick Offerman Dev is a close second. We'll have to see how the rest off the season shakes out.

In all seriousness, wease, the show is just outstanding. Brilliant writing. Stunning visuals. Compelling performances. It's smart and technical without being cold. It's got a gripping plot inside a slowing unraveling and patient premise. It's fantastic sci-fi. I really do think it's my favorite new show. I'm obsessed with it. And I'm only three episodes in.

Six episodes have aired and I think there are only eight in the season. No idea if it's a continuing series or a one off. But I'm all in right now. And I will say it does require your full attention. It's not a "put something on while I cook" type of show. It demands focus and investment. Which I love, but I can see might be off-putting or even a dealbreaker for others.

Caught up on Devs. Holy shit this show!

New ep in 2 days. Then waiting a full week for the finale will be intolerable. No idea how I'm gonna make it.

Yeah I really enjoyed this. Some of the writing is just okay but the style is fun as hell.

I hope the last episode of DEVS has something big in store. The last few have felt a bit samey. Or maybe I'm too dumb to fully grasp the quantum physics stuff and why it matters.

Why did
Spoiler: show
Kenton kill Jamie and attempt to kill Lily? Didn't he tell Forest he wasn't willing to do that? Was he that angry about seeing them meet with each other at Forest's house? That seems flimsy, plot-wise.

Spoiler: show
He told Forest he wasn't going to jail: meaning he wasn't going to take the fall for anything that happened. He was willing to eliminate Lily and Jamie if that was the only way to keep from going down. Forest said he didn't think that wa necessary and leave Lily alone. Then Kenton sees them all buddy/buddy and hanging out at Forest's house and he gets pissed and super paranoid, thinking THEY are teaming up to take HIM down. And he ain't gonna let that happen.

I personally don't think it's flimsy at all. Nothing about this show has been anything but expert, as far as I'm concerned. Each move has made sense. This is going to go down as one of my all time favorite mini-series ever. If they stick the landing... well, I can't even get ahead of myself. It's already amazing. Ending it well will only solidify and empower its already sure legacy. At least, for me.
