Jester Kings is a cool location. I like the spot a lot but I wasn't totally into the beers they had on offer to sample last time I was there. They weren't bad but they weren't my taste really. I'll check out some of those others though for sure.

(I know this is getting away from your beer to go question, but fuck it. God bless Texas.)

This is awesome and super helpful. Thank you.

Yeah, Jester King isn't for every day drinking for the most part. They make funky, experimental wild fermentation stuff that varies in quality from year to year and almost always benefits from aging. I'd recommend you pick up a bottle of something rare if you see it and hold on to it for a bit. I did the same with some Grimm bottles when I visited Brooklyn.

Oh, I have no idea on that one. Looks like Google Maps has Amarillo as nearly 10 hours from me if I took the scenic route, which I would.

I work in Scottsdale now. Some really great breweries here, but every Scottsdale stereotype is in full effect.

Lots of fake boobs and people talking about their European trips.

I’m working a closing shift at the bar tonight, but if I was the type to pour one from the draft wall before locking up, there’s a pretty good english mild we tapped from a local brewery that I’m into.

I was pissed at myself for a gluttonous summer. Plus I’ve been sucking wind lately when biking. I lost 3 lbs since Monday. I’ll be back to my old habits in no time.

Had another sour tonight (Paradise Pucker by Rogue).

Meh meh meh. Doesn’t even really taste like beer.
