Can't protest online. Can't protest at politicians' houses. It's like they want to accelerate straight to guillotines.

I have met a few social workers, and have not been impressed. If power mad, unpleasant DMV workers paid for a masters degree, this would be the result.

Prince Philip was Prince of Greece and Denmark before giving up his title to marry Elizabeth.
He and Elizabeth had the same great great grandmother, Queen Victoria.
Both of these facts seem like European Royalty bloodline nuttiness.
I didn’t realize Elizabeth had four children; I couldn’t tell you the name of the fourth one (Edward) if my life depended on it.

Maybe we had/ have no good cards to play, but it feels like Georgia 2008 set a bad precedent.
Go ahead and invade our nominal ally over a breakaway province you created and we will do nothing about it.
Its worse now with de-nuclearized Germany entirely dependent on Russian petroleum and all of Europe terrified of fracking due to (partially Russian astroturf) environmental groups.
Sucks for Poland and the Baltics, as they rather value their independence, but if Germany and other larger European states aren't serious about Russia, we really can't do much.
