Guess he won't be getting back on those committees after all
Unfortunately his loss had much more to do with this than it did the abhorrent, racist comments he's made.
I'm trying real hard to be the shepherd.

I'll note that I think Trump is increasingly vulnerable, as those national polls suggest--but. The headline here is a little misleading, here's the money shot:
Across the six battleground states Trump won in 2016, Biden now leads by 1 point (47% Biden, 46% Trump). This is a 3 point shift in the margin since our last wave and the first time Biden has led. Biden and Trump are at parity in Arizona (+1 Trump), North Carolina (+1 Biden), and Wisconsin (even), Biden leads in Florida (+3) and Michigan (+2), and Trump leads in Pennsylvania (+4).

tragabigzanda wrote:Wrapping up on results from last night, the big immediate takeaways for MT are:

1. Far-right candidates are benefitting from an all mail-in ballot

2. Conservative voters are generally more interested in big, dumb, aggressive, talking points rather than moderate candidates running on a record of nuanced leadership

3. Dem voters are broadly in favor of moderate candidates
Shocked. SHOCKED, I SAY.

With the caveat that Biden is not going to win Texas;
In contrast, Trump beat Clinton by 9% in 2016 in the state.

I hate seeing Biden these days. I keep worrying that he isn't well. I NEED him to be well.

I’m sure this group will come up with a brilliant plan that wins back people put off by intolerance, aggression, and a lack of empathy.
