Cavs are going to walk to the finals.
yeah barring an injury to lebron or jefferson there's no way they don't make the finals
That's why it is a hope.

Richard Jefferson's corpse has not had any bearing on the outcome of anything since like 2004.

I doubt it.

Ugh.
Man, do I fucking hate Richard Jefferson. I'd think Pop would admit that bringing him to the Spurs for those two years was probably the worst mistake he ever made. Weak defender. Weak rebounder. Low efficiency. Then he had the balls a couple of years ago to say he was better than his replacement... that's right, Kawhi fucking Leonard.

If he does he'll torpedo the draft picks they owe Boston.

I honestly think the Durant/Westbrook duo could take down the Warriors in a playoff series if they are healthy & continue to be locked in. Those two are fucking killers. Gonna be another fun West playoff year, even though the conference as a whole is a bit down.

And obviously, betting against the Spurs in the playoffs would be pretty foolish. All 3 of those teams I could see coming out of the West no problem.

The only year durant and Westbrook came out of the west was with Harden as their third. Plus we have to factor in the inevitable durant or Westbrook injury.

I'm not sure Durant/Westbrook is actually a great pairing. I think their talent has carried them into conference finals a few times, but does matching a volume-shooting, low-efficiency PG and an hyper-athletic forward actually make sense? I think Durant would be better paired with a "court general" type. In my view, Westbrook has drained Durant's development. Although to be fair, Durant's injuries haven't helped. Similarly, I think Westbrook would be better as the primary/only "focal point" of an offense. I think he feels like Durant has to "get his shots" and that takes him out of his game.

I love Jo. His jersey belongs in the rafters. Absolute warrior. Deng thibs now Noah. Taj and Rose are the last guys remaining from that era and they'll be gone soon too.
Gonna be sad when its all new school with mirobitch bricking, Doug flailing around on D and Jimmy telling himself mark whalberg tried to warn him about this..

Warriors small balled their way to 21 boards by my favorite hairy shouldered center.

The only team I will be able to stomach winning a title this year is the Spurs.

Nbatv was debating Ben Wallace as a hall of famer. Should I shit all over this or do one of you guys want to do it?

I loved Ben Wallace and that Pistons team was probably my favorite non-Spurs team of the last 20 years, but I think it's tough to make a case for him. It's really hard for defensive guys to make it. I'm guessing Dikembe
barely made it into the HOF and Wallace has the same number of DPoYs (4), but far worse numbers all around.
I personally think it's unfair. I'd take his defense and career 6/10 over some low-efficiency forward who averaged 18/6 and played lazy defense.
