That would be incredibly awesome. Great idea, Ruddo.E.H. Ruddock wrote:It'll be the cliffhanger at the end that dime doesn't want. They'll show him pick up dead Kylo's red saber and turn it on.Anders wrote:I don’t think that’s likely.

I wasn’t at all.
But I’m delighted it’s him.
Fascinating read if you go back the first pages on here of TFA being released. I was militantly against him. Happy to be proven and admittedly wrong.

In all honesty, I could see this happening. But I actually think it is a bad idea. This is the end of the saga. So end it with either good or bad clearly winning. To say "that's the end of it, folks" and then have a little "but maybe...." wouldn't be a good look for this. The next 10 years or so are planned out for SW movies, and they don't include more from this saga. Lets let it be done already.wease wrote:That would be incredibly awesome. Great idea, Ruddo.E.H. I’m sad to say it but the ‘but maybe’ crack of the door open is a certainty.
It’ll be subtle it’ll be left open to the story going forward with new characters but it will be there. Hope to fuck it isn’t.

Oh yeah. Just like the “but maybe” in ROTJ

They need to end this legacy stuff in IX and move forward.
They might not take many legacy fans with them into the SW future, but new fans growing up on the PT and ST will be plentiful.

Dime, the twitter storm has started
Talking about reshoots and George Lucas is now involved.
It’s happening!
didn’t you say something about this a few weeks ago? All movies schedule time for pickup shots but every time gossip talks reshoots it’s a bad thing.
Now it looks so bad GL is involved.
This happens all the time.

The pickups were two months ago.
Lucas is not involved.
While you’re clearly buying any old bullshit out there I’m selling a big clock tower in London. Comes with free unicorns.

1. I don’t buy any of the old bullshit out there
2. I was just stating that the normal cycle of when people get on the reshoots = trouble motif that you were talking about awhile back
3. I don’t like London or unicorns.

They already tried that ending with ROTJ. Didn’t take.E.H. Ruddock wrote:In all honesty, I could see this happening. But I actually think it is a bad idea. This is the end of the saga. The leaks have been elaborated upon and more detail provided.
Wish I could bail out if the internet until Christmas.

Why do you go to all these places that have the leaks and shit if you don’t want to know about them? It’s like saying you don’t want to ever eat sugar again, yet all you eat is sticky toffee pudding. Just don’t go to the fucking sites.dimejinky99 wrote:The leaks have been elaborated upon and more detail provided.

I don’t go to them. They’re all over twitter and Facebook and in among podcasts I usually listen to. I’m avoiding all of it but you can’t avoid seeing the posts and notifications of it.
Thankfully none of the details are provided just keywords. Scroll past.
Gonna filter and mute all the relevant terms tonight.

Re: Star Wars: Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker
You said in two consecutive sentences “I don’t. I do.” Stop going to fucking twitter and Facebook. I’ve never been on either and I’ve survived. You can, too. Stop listening to the damn podcasts. You still frequent all the places and keep doing the same things you do every day expecting those things to be different. They’re not going to be. So if you stop doing the same shit every day you won’t see the leaks you say you don’t want to see. Or hear.dimejinky99 wrote:wease wrote:Why do you go to all these places that have the leaks and shit if you don’t want to know about them?
