GdT’s Hellboy films have a charm about them and are kinda fun. Let’s not pretend they’re all *that* amazing. Enjoyable but not essential. I’m bummed he’s not doing this one too but meh overall.

Oh wow. The lady behind the counter who asks him for ID is Gary Oldmans sister.
Looks like a fun film.

I’m a big, big fan of GDT’s Hellboys. Particularly II, which might be his best film. Terrific atmosphere and pacing. Incredible creativity.

You get that I was making fun of dime there, right? Just to be clear. I love those movies, as I said earlier.

Hey I have both those films in a boxset and I’m a big fan of them and a bigger fan of GdT.
I’m just saying it’s not the end of the world.
And LV is right. II is more enjoyable than the first and is a fest visually and creatively.

I've seen too many posts talking about how good it looks in stills and how terrible it looks in motion to be surprised by this news. Honestly it would have taken a lot for me to think the reverse.

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

As much as I like Kevin Smith - Jay and Silent Bob is about the only film of his I haven't seen, and for some reason I have no real desire to watch it
