On the marketing thing and joking aside it's weird. My twitter feed is predominantly Star Wars, Trump(he's inescapable) and repeal the 8th stuff(our moronic abortion law)

But Facebook? Talk about targeted advertising. It's constantly Star Wars. And predominantly TLJ related. Funko pops(I don't own any and don't want to) toys etc.

Comes down to the wisdom of Qui gon. 'Your focus determines your reality.' Or advertising in this case.

But force Friday is a big deal in Star Wars land. Could be something is about to drop.

The Star Wars show featured the new gorilla ATAT last night and it was clearly a freeze frame shot from footage. They also showed the dreadnaught (mega star destroyer). So the signs are there that the marketing is revving up.

It is odd they haven't really kicked into gear. Especially as you'd think they'd want to distract from the troubles with the Han film. But maybe it makes sense and they don't want Han coverage infecting the TLJ coverage. Who knows.
