Oldest Weaseling just called and said she saw a car drive thru a house a couple of blocks away. I wish I’d known Chud was in town. I would’ve invited him over for supper.

Went back to Jiu Jitsu last night for the first time in almost a year, just the fundamentals class. Didn't come out hobbled, so that's a plus - but by skin has gotten soft in my time away. My face is all messed up today mainly from rubbing against my opponent's Gi

i have had a kit in my basement but only a hi hat and no ride or crash cymbals bc i took them to a friend’s place years ago and left them there. i go there occasionally to jam but at this point taking them back (almost 10 years!) isn’t happening. so i finally buckled and ordered some replacements

got a 70s zildjian 20” ride coming, 18” vintage (not sure what year) crash arrived today (2050g)

also getting a replacement for my top new beat hi hat 13” (80s/90s era)

also need a bass amp… but those are expensive so not sure when

Nice, those cymbals will do the job for sure.

Fender Rumble combos are the best budget practice bass amps IMO. Even the smaller cones move some serious air.
