back in the day, i assume the record company required them to hold listening parties. but they don't work for a record company anymore.

truthfully, so many of the decisions regarding management, timing, fan interaction, etc are just massive head scratchers to me. gotta hope the music on this new record is good enough to bear it all.

I'm not sure we can blame Pearl Jam for the entire music industry using 4/4 for the majority of modern music. It just feels the most natural.

Anyway, Gigaton really still feels kind of new and we're on the eve of getting a new album from these guys already. Colour me impressed for a bunch of guys about to hit their 60s
