I got into that for a while. I spent way more time downloading the games than actually playing them.

Finding ROMs and setting them up perfectly is actually kind of fun (and cheap) hobby.
GC games? hmm, I was wanting to get a Pi set up with my son as a project over the summer and that sounds fun.

I went a bit over my Steam summer sale budget, but it was worth it to add the last two on this list:

Dishonored 2
Rise of the Tomb Raider
Shadow of Mordor
Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes
Quake/Quake 2/Quake 3
Doom 1/Doom 2
Evil Genius
Half Life 1
Superhot
Starbound

A good haul for $75.

Found a guy who makes amiibo cards so I have most of them now but minus the weird ebay prices.

Not as cool as statues either unfortunately, but it's a trade-off.

Yup. I've been playing Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem on it for the last two weeks.

GameCube games make the Pi pretty warm, so I bought a USB-powered mini fan from the 99 Cents Only Store that blows directly on it. Actually a pretty good cooling solution. Lowered temps a few degrees.

Anyone else excited for Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy?

Those original games were childhood favorites, so I can't wait to relive the glory years of platforming.

I've never played the originals. I might check out the remaster if it goes on sale later this year. Looks good.

Or you could just buy a Raspberry Pi for $35 and also browse the web and have access to every movie and show ever made (Kodi).

OR I could buy this and put it next to my NES Mini which both look cooler than a Rasp Pi. :P

There's something about curation that will always draw me more than an emulator.

I don't have to do anything other than pony up the $ for the Mini series, that's much easier and less time consuming.
