I'd rather some small tinkers and see how the draft shakes out. They need to hold on to the Brooklyn pick and I don't really have any interest in Cousins. He reminds me of Antoine Walker. I'm a little nervous Ainge in gonna reach in an effort to just do something.

They have a lot of options. They could make a trade or two and still keep the majority of their picks and trade assets. They have a lot of good (but not great) players. I don't think they would give away the Brooklyn pick until after the lottery.

Ainge didn't gather up all those assets to premature ejaculate onto a crappy deal. He'll continue to be patient i m betting.

I don't know he admitted to going a little nuts trying to get Winslow in the draft. Luckily Charlotte turned him down.

Shitty game last night. My son was falling asleep in his seat by halftime. Kawhi looked good when he played and Booker looked good for the Suns, but it felt like a Developmental League game. I think the Suns had 9 players who could play at the start, then lost P.J. in the 3rd. Really a game where Aldridge and Green should assert themselves, but they didn't seem too interested in doing that. It was almost like they didn't really want to embarrass the Suns. Marjanovic was the star of the game.

Not a great game for fans.

Yeah, Timmy and TP didn't play and Manu played 5 minutes. Usually when that happens, Kawhi will play 35 to 40 minutes. He only played 22 minutes, so that was my main complaint.

Still, it was nice to see all that defensive effort in person. That's the thing that really stuck out to me. Their defensive pressure NEVER really subsides. It doesn't matter who's on the floor. I think the Suns got 2 "freebies" all night.

Also, I'm not sure I've ever seen a team that talks to each other so much on the floor. Pop's obviously a great coach, but this team seems to coach themselves about 75% of the time.

Communication is so vital on defense. I can't wait until Monday night.
