Matt will kick it off with an uptempo 4/4 chlamydic dick snare into
and then the super trebly guitars kick in

I would be surprised if there is no Buffett reference tonight; Ed’s too much of a surfer and a 50something not to know something of his. A solo version of Pirate maybe?

One time when I was a kid Southern Cross came on the radio and at the end I could have sworn the DJ said it was Jimmy Buffett so for many many too many years I thought it was a Jimmy Buffet song. That's my only Jimmy Buffett story.

This is great
In January 1996, Buffett's Grumman HU-16
airplane named Hemisphere Dancer was shot at by Jamaican police, who believed the craft to be smuggling marijuana. The aircraft sustained minimal damage. The plane was carrying Buffett, as well as U2's Bono, his wife and two children, and Island Records producer Chris Blackwell, and co-pilot Bill Dindy. The Jamaican government acknowledged the mistake and apologized to Buffett, who penned the song "Jamaica Mistaica" for his Banana Wind album based on the incident

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.
