went saturday where it was just me and my buddy. they had a single and asked if he could play in our group.
turns out he was a club pro. I learned those guys are very serious about being in their line of site. also didnt help i had a bright pink shirt on.
i stated i was breaking 90 today. my buddy laughed
again my driver was about as faithful as a kardashian but everything else seemed to be working.
par, par, bogey, double bogey, bogey, double bogey, bogey, bogey, par for a 44 on the front
as we hit the turn my friend realized he lost his phone. took 20 minutes for us to find it
back 9 i needed a 45. as i got to 17 i knew i was close and figured i need a total of 9 on the last two holes
double bogey, bogey, par, par, snowman (par 5), par, bogey, bogey, double bogey
the snowman was me in the sand trap. i was in the sand on my 3rd shot and took me 3 shots to get out. last hole is a deceptive par 3. was just short and to the left. chipped it and found the sand. hit out but landed on the fringe. my putt was downhil left to right and i misjudged the speed. i went about 12 feet past the hole. i line up and hit my putt and it stopped about 2 inches from the hole.
had i sunk that i would have a 89 and probably would have quit for the year. i am also very happy for a round of bogey golf

Just wrapped up a 71 (38-33). Going eagle-birdie back to back helped.

Got randomly paired up yesterday with 2 high school 11th grade kids who were on their school golf team. Played them 2 vs 1 match play for 9 holes and ended up tying. Felt pretty good about being able to hang with the youth, both score-wise and driving distance. Was fun to watch how they played the course bc it reminded me of how I used to play as a kid, and how much my strategy and course management has changed over the years.

Hey all,
My wife won a Full Swing KIT Studio Screen Package in a sweepstakes. It retails for $11,500 (check Full Swing’s site), but I don’t have the space for it. It’s sitting new/unused in the garage, and I’d rather pass it on to someone who’ll actually use it.
What’s included (all brand new, unopened):
Full Swing KIT Launch Monitor
Premium Short-Throw Gaming Projector (1080p, 3,800 lumens)
Impact Screen + Aluminum Frame + Protective Foam Padding
Side Barrier Netting + Landing Pad Turf
Premium Hitting Mat + Turf Extension
Ceiling Projector Mount
All Cables & Adaptors
Asking: $8,500 (open to reasonable offers)
Delivery Only: It’s a huge package, so I’ll arrange shipping. Buyer covers shipping cost.
Requires the $500/year Full Swing subscription to activate.
If anyone here’s interested, shoot me a message. I can send photos of the boxes and we can work out shipping details.
Thanks!

This could get interesting! Though, the withdrawal half point thing is super weird.

Good lord, the 'murican fans really showed their asses at the Ryder Cup. How embarrassing.

Shot even today. Started the back 9 with a double and was happy to fight back to get to 1-under on the side.

I don't follow the LIV tour at all, but it's really something that Anthony Kim came back from everything to win a professional golf tournament again. He was unreal back in the day.

Shot the worst 82 of my life today. Or maybe best? I dunno. One of those rounds you keep score but don't know where you are. Added it up afterward and expected a 90 and someone landed on 82. Garbage. Selling my clubs.

I put my clubs on Marketplace and bought them from myself. Hopefully these new clubs are the cure I need.

a great week golfing in myrtle once again
Played Sea Trails (jones course) and shot a 103 for the first round of the year. Went to rivers edge (arnold palmer course, shot a 116 there last year). This year I knocked 16 strokes off for a even 100. There is a lot to clean up in my game but feel like I am making more and more progress. We then had two days of scrambles. in a 6 hole span we were -7. birdie, birdie, birdie, eagle (par 4), birdie, birdie. the eagle was a par 4. partner drove the green (fairways were bouncey to say the least) and I ended up sinking a 25 footer
I would say my drives were about 80% middle of fairway for the week but the second shots were hit or miss (mostly miss) as well as approach. putting could have been a lot better. I probably left 4-6 putts on the lip and had way more 3s then i ever do.
