To strats point they definitely map out stuff way in advance to tie into the films. Bloodline and Lost stars are perfect examples of that.

I *think* you’ll see the wayfinder thing has already been indicated in the new Thrawn books, the middle one. And also they lay the groundwork for Palpatine and the hidden fleet too with Aftermath.

None of this stuff happens accidentally. Not when you have people at LFL whose job titles are ‘story strategists’ and Pablo and Matt Martin keeping the integrity and flow of the canon traveling in the same direction.

Aside from all that It’ll be fun to see how JJ ties not just this trilogies elements together but how he’s going to involve elements from all the films, as per Anders post quoting him saying that earlier.

I got spoiled bad on ROTS, and maybe a few minor ones here and there with the news films, but overall I've been doing OK. It is a dangerous game to play and I realize the risks I take even coming into this forum.

My main point was that I was glad to see people respecting and using the spoiler tag.

How in the world was ROTS spoiled for you? What was there to spoil?

Either most of the script leaked, or a great deal of it, because I read online exactly how everything went down - in detail - from these scenes:

Mace vs. Palps - how Mace dies; how palps turns into the emperor (deformed face explained)

Vader - what he looked like all burned up, how he was put back together

Lucas had only been telling about Vader since 1978. That wasn’t much of a spoiler.

I learned about the Nooooo! scream, how the robots worked on building him the suit, etc. I had not heard Lucas talk about that in great detail.

yeah i need it. But i had a conversation with a friend yesterday, we went to see TLJ together and we talk a lot about SW. He wanted to be out of the trailer and stuff and i kinda understand why.

We talked about how good these new movies look, they are really stunning. Complete cinema right there. This isnt Marvel or tv, its pure cinema.
Im going to revisit TLJ soon.
