Hair metal
80s new wave
Classic metal (70s / 80s metal Sabbath to metallica type of stuff)
90s alternative that isn't included in the nu tourney
Ummm... That's about all I got

Industrial mini tournament...

I'd love to run a N.W.O.B.H.M. one but it would probably be a lot of work for the voters. A lot of that stuff is pretty obscure. Probably go over worse than the Cure one.

Are there enough fans of thrash metal here to do a big 4 themed one of Metallica/Slayer/Megadeth/Anthrax songs?

Obviously the cutoff point would be 1994 for them all. Nobody gives a fuck about Risk or Diabolous En Musica, not even me.

Punk/ska needs to be the priority here. It’s the next logical step after Nu Metal.

I can't believe none of you motherfuckers listened to The Get Up Kids. Are turned2black and I the only ones on the board who were into late 90s second wave emo?

Did they have a "hit", something that broke through? Like the nu-metal tourney, we wanna keep it to relatively well-known songs

yeah I get that and don't know if any of the bands I was big into from this time period will be well known enough

the relative obscurity has just caught me by surprise especially since even when I went from high school to college everyone i knew was into tguk, std, and thursday
